I would like to share here my ideas for one of my course project which we have to produce short animation movie. While I'm thinking what to do for this project I came across with a slide show in YouTube about a true story.. A slide show about two bird's true love which touched my heart and I would like to give life to the slide show through my short film ( animation ). And I came up with a draft storyboard.
Scene 1 : There were 2 birds ( couples ) living so happily.
Scene 2 : Unfortunately here his mate is injured and the condition is appalling.
Scene 3 :The injured bird was lost her wings and couldn't fly.
Scene 4: The another bird fly around to find food for his mate.
Scene 5 : Here he brings her food and attend her with love and compassion.
Scene 6 : Brings her food but shocked with her death and try to move her.
Scene 7 : Stand beside her and scream saddened of her death. Finally aware that she would not return to him and she has departed, stands beside her body, sad and sorrow.
Here I want to show trough my movie how the bird will face the situation , what kind of expression he will give and what kind of feelings he going through.
A couple of good movies involving birds are "Valiant" and "Rio". Perhaps there are some shorts on the making of these movies that you can watch for tips or inspiration.
